A 15-member delegation of the 66th National Defence College Course, led by Maj Gen Pawan Pal Singh VSM, visited the Andaman & Nicobar Command as part of its Forward Area Tour.
The delegation included five officers from friendly foreign countries — Nepal, Egypt, Maldives, Myanmar and Nigeria. Their participation provided an opportunity for international military cooperation and professional exchange during the visit to the Andaman & Nicobar Command.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the operational and logistical aspects of India’s first and only Tri-Service Command. The briefing provided the members of the delegation with insights into the operational environment and challenges in the islands and maritime domain.
The Forward Area Tour provided the 66th National Defence College Course delegation an opportunity to understand the operational environment of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and the maritime domain.
