Assam Rifles personnel under the Indian Army’s Spear Corps organised a medical camp at Kanchanbari in Tripura, extending healthcare services to more than 350 villagers from the area.
The camp was organised as part of Assam Rifles’ continuing efforts to support communities in remote and rural areas of the Northeast, where access to regular medical facilities can be limited.
During the initiative, residents received comprehensive medical check-ups and healthcare assistance. Medical personnel attended to villagers and provided services aimed at addressing their immediate health requirements while promoting greater awareness about personal health and well-being.
More than 350 people benefited from the camp, highlighting the importance of outreach-based healthcare initiatives for communities located away from major medical centres.
Assam Rifles regularly undertakes civic-action and community outreach programmes alongside its operational responsibilities in the Northeast. Such initiatives include medical camps, assistance to local communities and other welfare activities.
The Kanchanbari medical camp further reflected Assam Rifles’ efforts to strengthen engagement with local residents while contributing to rural healthcare and community welfare in Tripura.
