The 103rd meeting of the Local Board of Administration (LBA) of Sainik School Kazhakootam was held at the school, bringing together representatives from the administration, education sector, engineering authorities, parents and the school’s alumni community.
The meeting was chaired by Air Vice Marshal Maluk Singh, VSM, Senior Officer-in-Charge Administration, Southern Air Command, Thiruvananthapuram, who also serves as the Chairman of the Local Board of Administration of Sainik School Kazhakootam.
The meeting was attended by the Assistant Collector, representatives of the General Education Department, the Executive Engineer of the Public Works Department (PWD), eminent educationists, representatives of the Parents’ Association and the Old Boys Association, along with other concerned members.
The participation of representatives from different administrative, educational and stakeholder bodies brought together various perspectives concerning the school. The presence of officials from the General Education Department and PWD, along with educationists, parents and alumni representatives, reflected the broad composition of the Local Board of Administration.
The meeting was held as part of the institutional functioning of the Local Board of Administration of Sainik School Kazhakootam, with the participating members representing various stakeholders associated with the school.
The presence of the Assistant Collector and officials from the General Education Department and Public Works Department also brought civil administration and public infrastructure-related representation to the meeting, while educationists, parents and former students provided representation from the wider school community.
Sainik School Kazhakootam, through its Local Board of Administration, brings together representatives from relevant administrative and educational institutions as well as members of the school community. The 103rd meeting continued this established mechanism of participation and coordination.
