Lieutenant General Mohit Seth, SM VSM** , General Officer Commanding (GOC) White Knight Corps, along with the GOC Ace of Spades Division, visited forward posts along the Line of Control in the Poonch and Krishna Ghati Sectors to review the operational preparedness of the formation.
During the visit to the forward areas, the Corps Commander was briefed on the prevailing security environment in the sectors. The briefing also covered counter-infiltration measures, the surveillance architecture and ongoing initiatives aimed at further enhancing operational effectiveness.
The visit focused on the preparedness of troops deployed at forward posts along the Line of Control and provided the Corps leadership an opportunity to review the measures being undertaken in the area. The operational briefing covered the security environment as well as the systems and measures being employed for counter-infiltration and surveillance.
The Corps Commander also reviewed ongoing initiatives intended to further enhance the operational effectiveness of the formation. The focus on operational preparedness comes as troops continue to maintain vigilance and readiness at forward positions along the Line of Control.
During the interaction with the troops, the GOC commended them for their unwavering commitment and operational excellence. He appreciated their efforts and emphasised the importance of maintaining high standards while performing duties in the forward areas.
