- Soldier GD (SIKH, SIKH (M&R), AIAC, DOGRA, BRAHMIN & MUSLIM CLASS) (i) Age : Between 17 ½ to 21 Years go on 01 Oct 2017 (born between 01 Oct 1996 to 01 Apr 2000). (ii) Height : Minimum 170 Cms (166 Cms for Kandi Area Candidates). (iii) Weight : 50 Kgs (48 Kgs for Kandi Area Candidates). (iv) Education : Matric (10th) pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject or 10+2 simple pass (Vocational stream are not acceptable).
- Soldier Technical (All Class Belonging to Punjab) (i) Age : Between 17 ½ to 23 Years go on 01 Oct 2017 (born between 01 Oct 1994 to 01 Apr 2000). (ii) Height : Minimum 170 Cms (163 Cms for Kandi Area Candidates). (iii) Weight : 50 Kgs (48 Kgs for Kandi Area Candidates). (iv) Education : 10+2 pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject (Vocational stream are not acceptable).
- Soldier Technical (AVN & Amn Examiner) (All Class Belonging to Punjab) (i) Age : Between 17 ½ to 23 Years go on 01 Oct 2017 (born between 01 Oct 1994 to 01 Apr 2000). (ii) Height : Minimum 170 Cms (163 Cms for Kandi Area Candidates). (iii) Weight : 50 Kgs (48 Kgs for Kandi Area Candidates). (iv) Education : 10+2 pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject or 03 years diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Automobiles / Cmptr Science Mechanical Engg and Electronic and Instrumental Engg) from AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) recognized institute (Vocational stream are not acceptable).
- Soldier Clerk / SKT (All Class Belonging to Punjab) (i) Age : Between 17 ½ to 23 Years go on 01 Oct 2017 (born between 01 Oct 1994 to
01 Apr 2000). (ii) Height : Minimum 162 Cms (iii) Weight : 50 Kgs (48 Kgs for Kandi Area Candidates). (iv) Education : 10+2 pass in any stream Arts/Science/Commerce with 60% marks in aggregate and 50% in each subject. If the candidate has English but no Maths/Accts/Book Keeping as subject in 12th class, he should have passed 10th with min 50% marks in Maths/Accts/Book Keeping. If candidates has Maths/Accts/Book Keeping Subject in 12th class but not English, he should have passed 10th with min 50% in English. If a candidates is graduate (any filed) with Maths/Accts/Book Keeping and English (even elective) as one of the subject, the stipulation of scoring 50% marks in Maths/English in Class XII or Class X and scoring 60% marks in aggregate in Class XII is waived off. If a candidate is graduate but not having English and Maths/Accts/Book Keeping at graduate level, he should have scored minimum 50% marks in English and Maths/Accts/Book Keeping at least once in Class XII or Class X (Vocational stream are not acceptable). - Soldier NA (Nursing Assistant) (i) Age : Between 17 ½ to 23 Years go on 01 Oct 2017 (born between 01 Oct 1994 to 01 Apr 2000). (ii) Height : Minimum 170 Cms (163 Cms for Kandi Area Candidates). (iii) Weight : 50 Kgs (48 Kgs for Kandi Area Candidates). (iv) Education: Should have secured 40% in compulsory (Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology) and 50 in aggregate in Class 12th (C2 grade in compulsory subjects and aggregate of 5 points for Bd with Grading System) or BSc Degree (Botany/Zoology/Bio Science) and English (Simple pass). Stipulation of marks laid down at 10+2 level will not be applicable. However, the candidate should have studied all the four specified subjects in class XII also (Vocational stream are not acceptable).
- Soldier Tradesman (8th and 10th Pass) (i) Age : Between 17 ½ to 23 Years go on 01 Oct 2017 (born between 01 Oct 1994 to 01 Apr 2000). (ii) Height : Minimum 170 Cms (166 Cms for Kandi Area Candidates). (iii) Weight : 50 Kgs (48 Kgs for Kandi Area Candidates). (iv) Education : 8 th / 10th (Matric) Simple Pass (Vocational stream are not acceptable).
Photographs: Candidates should bring 12 copies of latest passport size photographs. (Sikh candidate should bring 15 copies with turban and 12 copies without turban).
Documents Required. The following documents in original along with two attested photocopies will be carried by the candidates at rally site:-
- Education certificate issued by Education Board.
- Residence certificate issued by the Tehsildar/SDM.
- Cast certificate issued by the Tehsildar / SDM (No affidavit for Caste will be accepted).
- Religion Certificate issued by the Tehsildar/SDM. (If religion as “SIKH” is not mentioned in Caste certificate).
- Character certificate from School and College.
- Character certificate issued by Village Sarpanch/MC/Police within six months duly affixed photograph.
- No Claim and Unmarried certificate issued by Village Sarpanch/District administration duly affixed photograph.
- Son of servicemen/Ex-Servicemen should bring their Relationship certificate duly issued by respective Record Office, Signed by the SRO/CRO with his No, Rank, Name and appointment.
- Candidates from Kandi Area who are less than 170cm in height (but 166cm or more) should bring
Kandi Area Certificate issued by SDM for dispensation in height.
