Think About The Target Not The Result

Think About The Target Not The Result

“An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. When life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means it’s going to launch you into something great. So just focus, and keep aiming.  ” The above saying goes correctly with the thought process of an officer. There may be many ups and downs in one’s life but an officer never gets a setback in fact whenever failure approached him, tries to convert it into a happy moment by realising the positive side of it. The flip side of a sad instance is that though it delays your result and forces you to repeat but it gives a lifelong lesson of what not to do. A person should know the approach to adopt and how to deal with difficult times. I believe failures are always good as they are necessary part and parcel of life. They only fills life and gives the sense that it’s moving. Else life could be so monotonous.

I respect defence aspirants as thinking in this direction is only a pure thing to do as you have shown that you are not selfish but want to do something for your motherland.  I have seen people repeating for SSB and I have seen them dreaming for the uniform day and night. Few things that should be kept in mind once you have chosen this path:

  • Always focus on what you want to become and what’s your destination.
  • Be sure of how to achieve it and what all is needed to walk through the journey smoothly.
  • Also you should know the specialisation that must be needed for it or what all could be learnt so that if you are selected you can achieve heights.

  • After self realisation don’t ever look back and leave the path. As you have already invested high energy to walk up the distance and that’s what makes you stand wherever you are.
  • Try to be perfect in your domain so that no one has the power to beat you up.
  • Never worry for the end result as it’s not in your hand, whatever you can do to achieve best, just focus on that.
  • Try to give your best performance without worrying and that’s the only thing that you can do.
  • You cannot control the luck factor and hence just rely on your hard work.
SSB is really a battle; you need to be a warrior to win. You are tested in and out, you have to be perfect and you should realise this. Be an officer, be a warrior. Just work diligently for this dream and I am sure everyone can achieve that. SSB is just as simple as being yourself. Try this and if you need individual mentorship for preparation or have any queries you can drop email at [email protected]or connect on facebook and drop a message. Let’s reduce the difficulties and travel the path together.
