Former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has died on 06 Aug 2019. She was 67 years old. The BJP politician who was admitted to AIIMS last night has died. Her body was taken to her Delhi residence later in the night and will be kept for three hours at the BJP headquarters on Wednesday for people to pay tributes. The last rites will take place at the Lodhi Crematorium.
- Sushma Swaraj was brought to AIIMS at 9:30 pm and was straight away taken to the emergency ward
- Swaraj had a kidney transplant in 2016 and had opted out of contesting Lok Sabha polls earlier this year for health reasons.
