Army Cadet College Wing: Convocation Ceremony concluded on 3rd Jun 2022 in the presence of proud parents. Forty Cadets of ACC 119th Course were conferred with their Graduation Degree. Gentlemen Cadets will now be trained at IMA for a year. A total of 40 Cadets of the Army Cadet College (ACC) Wing graduated on 03 Jun 2022 and were awarded a degree during the presentation ceremony at the Khetarpal Auditorium of the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.
These degrees were conferred upon the Cadets by the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. The ceremony was presided over by Lt Gen Harinder Singh, Param Vishisht Seva Medal, Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, Yudh Seva Medal, Sena Medal, Vishisht Seva Medal, Commandant, Indian Military Academy.
Prepare for the Army Cadet College (ACC) Exam 2022:
A press release issued by IMA stated that the graduation ceremony was presided by the institute’s commandant Lt Gen Harinder Singh who presented the degrees to the cadets in presence of Brigadier Shailesh Sati, commander ACC.
During the ceremony, cadet Arsh Kumar was awarded the gold medal of Chief of Army Staff (COAS). The COAS silver medal was awarded to Abhinash Sharma while the bronze medal was awarded to Harpreet Singh. Similarly, the commander’s silver medal for getting the first rank in service subjects was awarded to Harpreet Singh. Besides, the medal for getting the first rank in the Humanities stream was awarded to cadet Nishant Sangle. Sachidanand Tiwari won the silver medal for getting the first rank in the Science stream.
The Siachin Bn (ACC Wg) is an integral part of the Indian Military Academy, located at Prem Nagar, Dehradun (Uttarakhand). The duration of the course at Siachin Bn (ACC Wg) is three years split into six semesters of six months each. Thereafter, successful cadets will undergo one year training at IMA.
The IMA passing out parade would be held on June 11 in which a total of 377 gentleman cadets will graduate from the academy. They will be commissioned as officers in the Indian Army.
