Meet Lieutenant Chetana Sharma Who Will lead Made in India Akash surface-to-air missile

It was an honour for Lieutenant Sharma, according to her, to get the chance to represent the Army and her unit at the Republic Day celebration in 2023. After six attempts, Lieutenant Sharma stated she was finally accepted into the Army, and her success was due to her dedication.

Lieutenant Chetana Sharma will be leading the Made in India Akash surface-to-air missile system at the Republic Day parade 2023. She said she always wanted to take part in the R- Day parade watching it on TV every year & her dreams have come true this year.

Lieutenant Chetana is an officer of an Army Air Defence regiment that guards the skies against drones and enemy aircraft. She is from the Khatu Shyam village in Rajasthan. She received her degree from NIT in Bhopal and then appeared for the CDS exam. However, she only succeeds after trying six times.
