A Planning and Coordination Exercise will run concurrently to refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and enable rapid coordination between the forces of India and the United States.

The Indian Navy’s participation in Tiger Triumph includes a Landing Platform Dock, Landing Ship Tanks (Large) with integral Landing Crafts and helicopters, guided missile Frigates, and Long Range Maritime Reconnaissance Aircraft.

The Indian Army will be represented by an infantry battalion group, including mechanized forces, while the Indian Air Force will deploy medium lift aircraft, transport helicopters, and a Rapid Action Medical Team (RAMT). Special Ops Forces from all three services will also take part in the exercise.

The US Task Force, on the other hand, comprises a US Navy Landing Platform Dock with integral Landing Craft Air Cushions and helicopters, a Destroyer, maritime reconnaissance, and medium lift aircraft, as well as US Marines. Their participation underscores the shared commitment of the United States to promoting regional stability and security in partnership with India.
