Delegates participated in comprehensive discussions, workshops, and presentations aimed at identifying challenges, sharing best practices, and charting out actionable strategies to address evolving operational requirements.

A highlight of SCW 24/1 was the presentation of a comprehensive report by the Director General Medical Services (Navy) (DGMS(N)) on the operations of Early Intervention Centres (EIC) across all naval commands and NHQ.

The report provided insights into the vital role played by EICs in promoting health and well-being within the naval community, showcasing the Navy’s commitment to proactive healthcare initiatives.

Additionally, a manuscript of the EIC book was unveiled by Admiral R Hari Kumar, Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Mrs. Kala Hari Kumar, President of the Naval Wives Welfare Association (NWWA), and Surg Vice Admiral Arti Sarin, DGMS(N), underscoring the importance of disseminating knowledge and fostering a culture of preventive healthcare.
