The inauguration ceremony, presided over by Shri Giridhar Aramane IAS, Defence Secretary, and attended by DG Rakesh Pal, AVSM, PTM, TM, Director General of the Indian Coast Guard (DGICG), along with dignitaries from the Central and State Governments, marked a pivotal moment in the Coast Guard’s efforts to enhance its operational readiness in forward areas.
