During the visit, Lt. Gen. Singh took the opportunity to inspire the soldiers, urging them to remain vigilant and resilient as they continue their service in challenging environments, including the icy heights at 14,000 feet where the battalion is currently deployed. He encouraged all ranks to bring honor and glory to the Madras Regiment, a unit known for its rich history and valor in safeguarding the nation.
