General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), visited the Bald Eagle Brigade to review operational preparedness and capability development initiatives in the strategically vital Rann and Creek Sector.
During the visit, the COAS was briefed on operational matters, technology infusion, integration with other security agencies, and nation-building initiatives undertaken by the formation. He commended the brigade for its high levels of professionalism, dedication, and unwavering commitment to duty while operating in the challenging terrain and extreme weather conditions of the Kutch region.
General Dwivedi also lauded the formationโs innovative efforts in incorporating next-generation equipment into the operational framework, enhancing both combat readiness and multi-agency synergy. He highlighted that such integration is critical to maintaining operational superiority and safeguarding national interests along sensitive border areas.
The visit underscored the Indian Armyโs focus on strengthening operational capabilities, fostering innovation, and ensuring that troops deployed in difficult terrains remain fully prepared to respond to emerging security challenges.
