Lt Gen Puneet Ahuja, SM, VSM, has assumed the prestigious appointment of Chief of Staff, Headquarters Western Command, from Lt Gen Mohit Wadhwa, SM. The solemn ceremony took place at the Command Headquarters, marking a smooth and dignified transition of responsibilities between the two senior officers.
To commemorate the occasion, both General Officers paid homage to the fallen heroes by laying a wreath at the Veer Smriti war memorial, honouring the supreme sacrifice of the brave soldiers who laid down their lives in service to the nation.
