Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command, visited the Armoured Corps Centre and School (ACC&S) at Ahilyanagar as part of his official tour to review ongoing training and technological initiatives. During his visit, he lauded the institutionโs continuous strides in modernisation, training innovation, and infrastructure enhancement that have strengthened its reputation as a premier training establishment of the Indian Army.
He appreciated the pioneering efforts of ACC&S in embracing new technologies, particularly its leadership role in Swarm Drone Training for the Indian Army. The centre has also made significant advancements in training related to drones, counter-drone operations, and autonomous systems aligning with the Indian Armyโs initiatives under the โYear of Technology Absorptionโ and the broader vision of the โDecade of Transformationโ.
Interacting with the officers, instructors, and faculty members, the Army Commander commended their dedication and professionalism in shaping the future of armoured warfare through innovation-driven training.
