Lt Gen P K Mishra, General Officer Commanding, White Knight Corps, accompanied by the General Officer Commanding, Ace of Spades Division, visited forward locations in the Poonch Sector to assess the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness of troops deployed along the Line of Control.
During the visit, the Corps Commander interacted with troops on ground and reviewed the effectiveness of surveillance, defensive preparedness, and operational posture in the sector. He commended the troops for their professionalism, vigilance, and unwavering commitment in maintaining high standards of readiness despite challenging terrain and weather conditions.
Lt Gen Mishra urged all ranks to remain alert and maintain a strong offensive posture to deter any misadventure across the border. He emphasised the importance of constant vigilance, coordination, and use of modern technology to enhance situational awareness and ensure the sanctity of the nation’s borders.
The visit underscored the White Knight Corps’ unwavering focus on operational excellence, adaptability, and mission readiness, reflecting its motto — “We Guard, We Protect, We Prevail.”
