Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, General Officer Commanding (GOC) White Knight Corps accompanied by the GOC Romeo Force, visited forward areas in the Rajouri sector to review the prevailing security situation and assess the operational preparedness of troops deployed in the region.
During the visit, the GOC was briefed on the counter-insurgency grid, ongoing anti-infiltration measures, and efforts to maintain peace and stability in the hinterland. The Corps Commander commended all ranks for their dedication, professionalism, and operational effectiveness, lauding their sustained efforts in ensuring security along the Anti-Infiltration Obstacle System (AIOS) and within the region’s challenging terrain.

He urged the troops to maintain the highest standards of readiness and vigilance, emphasizing the importance of continued synergy and operational alertness to counter any potential threats effectively.
The visit reaffirmed the Indian Army’s commitment to maintaining robust counter-terrorism and border security measures in the sensitive Rajouri–Poonch sector.
