How Is Cadet’s First Day at Indian Military Academy

0

The Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun is one of the premier Institutions training Gentlemen Cadets (GCs) for commission into the Indian Army. The Academy is known for its glorious history and valiant traditions which are not only an integral part of the Nation‟s proud heritage, but also form an indispensable sheet anchor of independent India‟s national security. Many defence aspirants have the curiosity to know how will be their first day at the Indian Military Academy, let’s know more. In this video, we will see what cadets go through on their first day at the Indian Military academy.

What Is A Military Court Martial?

0

Military Court Martial is a military court for hearing charges brought against members of the armed forces or others within its jurisdiction; also, the legal proceeding of such a military court. A court-martial is empowered to determine the guilt of members of the armed forces subject to military law, and, if the defendant is found guilty, to decide upon punishment

The Armed Forces Tribunal Act 2007, was passed by the Parliament and led to the formation of AFT with the power provided for the adjudication or trial by the Armed Forces Tribunal of disputes and complaints with respect to the commission, appointments, enrolments, and conditions of service in respect of persons subject to the Army Act, 1950, The Navy Act, 1957 and the Air Force Act, 1950. It can further provide for appeals arising out of orders, findings or sentences of courts-martial held under the said Acts and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

There are four kinds of courts-martial in India. These are the General Court Martial (GCM), District Court Martial (DCM), Summary General Court Martial (SGCM), and Summary Court Martial (SCM). According to the Army Act, army courts can try personnel for all kinds of offenses, except for murder and rape of a civilian, which are primarily tried by a civilian court of law. Higher government authorities do not deal with military doctrines. The president of India can use his judicial power, (Article 72), to give either pardon, reprieve, respite, or remission of punishment or sentence given by a court-martial.

Cracked TES SSB Interview In My Last Attempt

0
Recommended-For-Indian-Army-In-My-Last-Attempt

Hi KRISHNA DIXIT here. I recently got recommended in TES46 entry from the so-called rejection centre Allahabad SSB in my last attempt after the 12th. At first, I was having the same feeling about that centre but after the day of screening, it changed for me.

On the first day, there was a reporting of 305 from which 23 got documents out and then we allotted chest numbers, I got 269 as I was a hardcore repeater. As most of us are aware that firstly OIR happens on screening day, I completed my OIR in not more than 12mins each then after that in a streak we were shown a picture for ppdt and I made a simple story. Then at the time of discussion, our group consists of 14 candidates and I was the 1st of them to narrate. During the narration, I stuck for 2 to 3 words but completed it so I thought that I need to perform well in GD so I did one most important thing in GD is to control the group not to make it a fish market which helped me a lot.

When they were announcing results, I thought that they may take time to come to me but the first chest no. they said was 269 that was mine and then 29 more from the remaining 281.

Day 2:

On the psychology test day, we went early in the morning about 6.40 am as it was scheduled to start at 7.00 am. After that, our psychologist addressed us explained us all, and started the test at 7.40 am. Starting with TAT, one thing I had learned from my previous attempts is that if our story is linked with our PIQ then it will be great for us. So I made sure to link them with my PIQ like I m good in sports, so I had to make 6-7 stories on sports, 2-3 on extracurricular and remaining on studies, Olympiad, etc. Then in WAT, I followed the same process, like 30-35 sentences on sports, 10-15 on studies, remaining on extracurricular, etc. Now for SRT, every time psychologist says quality matters not quantity but I get it in this attempt as I attempted only 31 SRTs but had given proper quality solutions and what I would tell you about SDT, u all know it very well I guess.

Our test finished at 10.30 am and I was called for my interview at 10.31 am suddenly after the test. That was a surprise for me but I was feeling because I will be free after that, my interview was very short, about 20-25 mins and was to the point like he asked something And I answered him in 4-5 words max. My interview was good according to me and must be according to him too.

Day 3 and 4 were for GTO which was my weakest part in previous attempts but this time I performed well in all groups as well as in individual tasks like command tasks. He pressurized me a lot and changed various situations for me at that time but I remained calm and cool.

On the conference day, the board had just asked me a simple question what will I join if I got recommended in this attempt too whether Army or Navy I gave the simplest answer is definitely Army, and told him the reason.

Then again the same happened during the conference result that they announced first chest no. 1 that was mine than chest no.5 and that’s all so both of us got recommended from 305 which is a very big thing for both of us.

I would also like to share the results of my previous attempts:

TES 44: S/OUT

NDA 145: C/OUT

NDA146: C/OUT

TES 45: C/OUT

NDA 147: C/OUT

NAVY TECH. ( JAN 2022) : RECOMMEND

TES 46: RECOMMEND.

Now I m just waiting for the merit of both Navy tech and TES 46.

I will give u just a simple hint for SSB

“GO THERE AND JUST TRY TO GIVE YOUR 100%”.

Thanks to all and especially my brother Anurag Pandey.

Cracked NDA Exam And SSB Interview In 1st Attempt Got AIR-84

0

Hello defence aspirants. I’m Sandaka Chakradhari Aryan Raj from Jaykaypur, a small town in the Rayagada district of Odisha. I secured an All India Rank 84 in the UPSC NDA/NA 1 2021 Examination. I got recommended from 12 SSB , SCS Bangalore. I’m very much glad to say that it was my first attempt both in written and SSB and I passed the examination with an extraordinary result. I would like to thank SSBCRACK for giving me such a great opportunity to share my experience. I’m completely from a civilian background.  Since my childhood, I was very much inspired to join the forces, especially The Indian Navy due to my regular visit to Visakhapatnam. Though I was demotivated by many of my peers and friends that armed forces are not my cup of tea as I was very weak at sports but I never got demoralised by their words. I even wrote the Sainik School exam in 9th but couldn’t make it through the interview. But as it is said that failure is the first step of success, after this failure, I worked hard and secured 95.8 % in Class 10 Board exams.

spot_img

And then following the ‘ Bhed Chaal ‘ I joined a coaching institute in  Visakhapatnam for IIT-JEE coaching with a mindset of aligning my NDA preparation as well. In my two years of Class 11th and 12th, I was dedicatedly preparing for my JEE and Board exams. But in my mind, I was somewhat confident that this would help me out for my NDA exam as well since I have never solved any questions, especially for the NDA exam. So after completing my syllabus I appeared in the NDA written exam for the first time on 18 April 2021 and after the exam, I was confident enough that I would qualify and the same happened. I started preparing for my SSB from books and online sources. I was guided by many of my well-wishers who were themselves had experienced SSB. Before my SSB I made up my mind that I’m going there to just enjoy and experience, the results will not matter and will just motivate me for my future. On my reporting day there was reporting of 89 candidates.

My OIR went quite well and I was pretty confident about it. My PPDT story was regarding cleanliness and I wrote it well. During the time gap between group discussion and writing the PPDT story, I talked with as many of my candidates as possible not just to get their support during the discussion but also many were from JEE backgrounds like me. This helped me a lot and my story was a unique one among the group of 20 and everyone supported my theme. Then I was nominated to narrate the story as well . After this I was happy of getting such a great support from all and narrated the story. Then a few moments later results were declared and I was screened in. Next day was my Psych which was as good as expected but only in SRT I couldn’t answer much , only 35 but after hearing from the psychologist that “Only the quality matters not quantity “, I was happy and a bit satisfied . My interview was also all about my family , friends , academics , leisure time and my back up plan . One of the question which I was asked and couldn’t answer was how to open an Instagram account ( seriously I couldn’t answer as I was not at all active on any social media platform ) . I told sir I’m sorry , I’m not at all aware about it and to be frank I have no interest in social media . To build my personality I have been watching IAS mock interviews on YouTube ( one of my hobbies ) which also helped me a lot . My interview went pretty good as the IO was very calm with me while he made the interview hell for many of my friends. My GTO also went very well but I felt I was a bit dominating in my group though I respected everyone’s thoughts and ideas in GD and Military Planning exercise . But this helped me to get nominated by my group mates to lead the group showing my leadership skills. My lecturette was on Status of women which was a cup of cake for me and I spoke it in the best possible way. But I couldn’t do well in the individual obstacles ( only 6-7 while many of my group mates did 12 also ).

After all this I made up my mind that I gave my best and now it’s upto God whether I get recommended or not. But I was happy as I enjoyed a lot , made many good friends and more than all these I learnt and experienced many things which would be helpful throughout my life. On the day of conference I was called and asked about my large name . I told many great personalities like Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam also have large names so I’m happy about it . Then I was asked to rate myself and I told I gave my 100% in all the tests but I felt I messed up in Individual obstacles . I was asked the reason for it and I told sir my stamina is not enough and I have t`o build it . Here also the same back-up plan questions were repeated and I was asked what other competative exams I gave and how I scored . I told I secured 97. 86%ile in JEE Main and preparing for JEE Advanced as well but I would be trying my level best until I get into the Indian Navy. Then I was asked to leave . After an hour or so we were asked to assemble and our result were declared. This one hour was the most painful time for all of us within these 5 days of stay in SSB with our heart beat doubling. Out of 35 , 6 got recommended and luckily I was one among them. I was literally in cloud nine.

spot_img

Now I would like to say what I learnt from my experience:

1. Never study for the point of your exam , study for your life because if not one exam the other one may definitely be yours . I never prepared for NDA written but I cleared it in my first attempt only.

2. In SSB, try to be honest ,not to just to the assessors but to yourself and your fellow mates .

3. Don’t fear failure it is the only lesson we are never prepared about . Try to learn from it either regretting on it

At last I would like to say that don’t try run behind success as it always tries to escape from you but try to run behind hardwork , it will automatically bring success to you .

With this I would like to finish and wish all the defence aspirants lots of luck for their future and for their zeal towards Nation’s service.

Thank you

 JAI HIND.

Meet Captain Sania Led the Women Team To De-Launch 60 Feet Bailey Bridge In A Day

0
Capt-Sania

After the successful de-launch of 50 ft SSBB at Km 32 on 06 Dec 2021, the women team again created history by de-launching a 60 ft SSBB at Km 43 on 23 Jan 2021. This women team of 105 RCC is making history time and again and doing wonders which never happened before. Another successful de-launch happened on 23 Jan 2021 without any mishap or injury. The 60 ft SSBB was constructed on 02 Jan 1986 during the period of crisis. A few years back a pmt replacement bridge was constructed and the Bailey bridge was not in use. The women team de-launched 35 years old Bailey Bridge successfully.

  • Limited clear backspace for de-launching the bridge.
  • Use of machine was not possible and the whole operation was carried out manually.
  • Chances of injury during the operation is high as the parts of Bailey Bridge is too heavy to be carried.

In spite of all the above conditions, the team of ladies was fully motivated and carried out the de-launch successfully. The de-launching operation was led by Capt Sania under the supervision of OC, 105 RCC, EE (Civ) Obing Taki. Both the lady officers worked on the ground with the women team rubbing their shoulders, from lifting panels to pulling bridge.

The task was completed in a day and now this bridge can be used at places where needed. The same was praised by all higher officials.

Captain Sania belongs to Reasi, Jammu, and Kashmir. She joined the OTA Chennai in 2018 after achieving AIR-1 in her SSB interview.
