AFCAT 2 2016 Cut Off Marks

Candidates who are applying for AFCAT 2 2016 flying, technical and GDOC need to have the minimum percentage as mentioned below. Candidates who are not meeting eligibility criteria won’t be able to attend the AFSB interview even in case they clear the AFSB interview.

Flying Branch Cut Off Marks
Graduates (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognised University who have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level OR BE / B Tech degree (Four year course) from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.
Technical Branch Cut Off Marks
All candidates applying for technical branch should have scored a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and studied at least eight subjects out of the eighteen subjects listed below in their qualifying
 Ground Duty Branches Cut Off Marks
  • Administration & Logistics: Graduate Degree (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or a Post Graduate Degree / equivalent Diploma in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.
  • Accounts: Graduate Degree in Commerce (B Com)(Minimum three year degree course) with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or Post Graduate Degree in Commerce (MCom) / CA/ ICWA with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.
  • Education: Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.afcat-book-banner

Candidates who are waiting for their supplementary exam results can apply for AFCAT but they are only allowed to attend AFSB interview(if clear the written exam) with minimum cut off marks mentioned above.AFCAT 2016 Cut Off Marks

AFCAT 1 2016 Backlog Condition?

Candidates should not have any present backlog and should have secured a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together up to the last semester / year for which results have been declared at the time of online submission and at the time of SSB.

Can Final Year Students Apply for AFCAT 2 2016?

  • Candidates appearing in final year/semester examinations may apply for all courses commencing in July 2017 provided they fulfil the following conditions:-(a) Candidates should not have any present backlog and should have secured a minimum of 60% marks upto the last semester / year for which results have been declared at the time of online submission and at the time of SSB.
    (b) Candidates should be able to provide provisional / original degree certificate issued by University latest by 15 June 2017.
