Failing at SSB Interview, Keep Trying

SSB is not an ordinary exam that you read some specified books and you can clear it. It clearly needs clear frame of mind, well groomed personality and the specific set of qualities that defence people are looking for. Hence it’s a common myth that people feel sad after not getting selected when they themselves know that they went without preparation or say without right guidance.  Many mentees of mine have been asking me this query that what do they look for and my simple one liner answer is that they only look for 15 OLQ’s so if you have it no one can stop you from becoming officer. The immediate reaction comes that whether these qualities are born with the personality or they can be inculcated. See it’s very clear that not all personalities are alike and some might have but research has shown that majority of people develop qualities after birth and it predominantly is developed based on the environment you live, conditions of life and based on the behaviour of people around you.

So it’s very clear that people don’t fail knowingly at that place.
Wearing uniform and having stars on the shoulder is dream of millions but starts shower their blessing on those who work in right direction. People cry to me that they are not good in academics or sports or they have not done many things in life, so I tell them that what’s the use of crying for the past when you cannot improve it now. I provide regular counselling to people who share their problems with me and I have realised in sessions that the problem is very basic that people don’t find right information and sometimes get deflected in wrong direction. Also people ask for readymade stories and sentences but please be aware that you need to reflect your personality and not someone else personality at SSB. Tjhis has always been a major cause of rejection at SSB.
“The path never moves ahead, it’s the human being that traverses it and reaches the destination”~~Karan Raghav .

Failing at SSB Interview, Keep Trying
Karan is my friend who said it rightly that you have to trace your path and work in right direction, there might be many path in front of you that will take you in various directions. So even if you fail don’t feel bad and turn that negativity into a positive feeling that you still need to improve a lot and that’s why you could not get recommended. Our officers are great and the selection methods are also foolproof that’s why assessors reject people with flaw. Identify that flaw using self-introspection and work on your personality.
Still If you have any confusion or feel to take individual assessment of personality for olq’s  through various tools or prepare from your place itself through one to one interaction through my mentoring / counselling program drop me a mail at [email protected]or add me on Fb and drop in a message. Recommendation is the outcome of the perfect personality you portray at SSB and nothing more. So be yourself and do well.
