Is this good news for a developing country like India or a bad news? This can be the latest topic given to the aspirants. The aspirants are expected to present their views for both the motion. Though India is on the developing note and needs high amount of investment from foreign investors but we need to look in to the core reason of why these investors are interested in our country. Are resources not available in their country or do they want to benefit our country? If you will realise the reality it’s shocking as there are ample of resource in developed nations and that could be tapped, but still big organisations look towards India as they believe India is a destination where cheap labour is available.
Also here the unemployment rates are so high that people are ready to work at low rates. The MNC want to utilise that opportunity to make big profits. Though we are inviting investors through various schemes and one is the MAKE IN INDIA campaign recently launched by the new government but still these are just different means to harass our labour class. No doubt government is working towards reduction in unemployment but why do government not look into the various laws that can help in saving the misuse of our hard working labour. There has been always demand of bringing change in the laws that govern and control the labour. Also we need to see that the proposed changes are positive but nothing is happening. Unorganised sector is left out from the purview of law and the statistics are shocking that laws govern only 8-9 per cent of the people who are the part of the organised sector. Don’t you think that we should save our country from this tag of cheap labour?
