What to Prepare for Interview at SSB

What to Prepare for Interview at SSB : SSB is altogether a different experience for the aspirants as the participants get a chance to revisit their life and see the close personality of theirs associated with qualities. Each and every round conducted at SSB is designed keeping in mind the qualities, so be assured whether you are running and performing task in ground or you are writing things on pages in psychology round or you are speaking things in interview , everyone is trying to assess your quality in different means. In all, a congruent personality should be reflected through all processes else you would not be recommended. The majority of candidates are thrown out because there is a conflict in one’s personality. Aspirants write to me with different myths in mind that I spoke well in GD or my story was good or say my interview was for about an hour still I am not selected. Believe me not to consider such things at SSB as it’s a scientific process of selection and befooling at that place is near to impossible.

Interview at SSB can be categorised into three parts more or less:

  1. Behaviour/Personality Assessment: These questions categories are based on thewhat to prepare for ssb interview personality of the candidate and are linked to the personal life of the aspirant. I will involve all categories of questions to know you in and out. Answers are seemed in full confidence as you are the best one to know yourself. Aspirants should not be hesitant in sharing personal life else the things might go out of favour for the aspirants. The details of this category would be covered in a separate article. This section can be well prepared beforehand.
  2. Technical Assessment: Technology is the trend of life and how can our officers be far from it. So keep yourself updated. This might depend on the entry you are applying for so prepare accordingly else you might lose the battle. Revise your education/ work you are performing in the recent past.
  3. General Assessment: An officer should know the latest happenings in and around him or her, so keep you self-updated with it. Things can be checked anytime and anywhere.

Interviews are very important in selection and getting the recommendation as they are taken by the senior most officers of the board. Any wrong move can be dangerous. Things here don’t have fixed answers but they need to be moulded as per your personality and this is an art you need to learn. “Even vague things if presented properly sound good ~~ Jayendra Pratap Singh” So you have to be alert and learn the art of driving the interview because believe me it’s only in your end as to how to drive the interview and take the interviewer to the well aware areas of your life. Still If you have any confusion or feel to take individual assessment of personality for olq’s or prepare from your place itself through one to one interaction through my mentoring / counselling program or want to learn the art of driving the interview, just drop me a mail at [email protected] or add me on Fb and drop in a message. Your personality should be presented in synch with what you actually are and then only recommendations come to your way. Learn the art and paint your victory!!!
