Terrorism on Hike – Bigger Steps Towards Destruction

Terrorism is one of the biggest problems and it seems to be a big fund absorbing activity, for terrorists to spread their influence and for anti-terror countries to avert their actions and curbing it. Loss of life is simultaneously prevailing with these groups showing activeness in spreading their branches. This year is marked with some of the incidents that took place and became a topic of international discussion.

OMAR-I Missile:

Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) released a video showing assembly and launch of OMAR-I. The special thing about this missile is the assembling and disassembling of missile according to the situation. The matter of concern is whether they made it by themselves or this technology has been secretly provided to them by someone unknown. Well, it would be a havoc if this missile got nuclear compatibility. The video after release shocked many countries.Terrorism-on-Hike-Bigger-Steps-Towards-Destruction

ISIS Overtook Al Qaeda:

According to a recent report, ISIS has overtaken Al Qaeda. The chief of Al Qaeda Ayman Al-Zawahiri is facing the shortage of recruits and funds to continue its terror group. As ISIS has topped the list of deadliest terror groups and the escalation in developments, recruitments, and fund raising has made it a headache for super powers. The chief of ISIS, Bagdadi, who is an ex-Al Qaeda terrorist had raised this new group. This downfall came after the death of previous Al Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden after which Ayman Al-Zawahiri became the new leader.

ISIS to Buy Nuclear Material from Pakistan:

ISIS came to the limelight a few months ago when it claimed to buy nuclear material from Pakistan within 12 months and smuggling it to US. According to an article “The Perfect Storm”, it is claimed that ISIS has a huge deposit of the fund in bank accounts and will use it to buy nuclear material form corrupted officials of Pakistan. The article end with a warning-“as the territory of the Islamic State crosses from one border to another like a wildfire that is burning out of control, it’ll be only a matter of time before the Islamic State reaches the western world.”

ISIS got Sufficient Radioactive Material:

A report by Australian intelligence came, revealing that ISIS has got sufficient radioactive material to build a bomb. The radioactive material has been collected form research centers and hospitals that were under government’s access. The threat of construction of such bombs and biological weapons by ISIS is increasing day by day. Australian government fears ISIS of weapons poisonous gas like chlorine.

These steps taken by terror groups have made the world divert mind toward neutralizing terrorism which can be used for further development of society. Several countries are paying huge amounts to counter terrorism and several lives were sacrificed in attempt to overcome it. Still some mistakes or we can say loopholes left behind, empowers terrorist to gain their kingship. But coordination and clever actions can do an appreciable job. Several terrorist have been killed in US drone attacks and Zarb-e-Azb. But still more actions are required. The expanding ISIS has become a global issue and needs to be solved as soon as possible.
