The naval uniform stands out in the crowd, the men and women take a lot of pride wearing the whites. The stripes are in gold which glitters along with the whites of the navy. This uniform is more than what meets the eye of a common man.

- Peak cap/white turban, White full sleeved shirt, Black tie, Black jacket, Stripes on sleeves (Officers and MCPO/ CPO)
- Turn back on lapels (Midshipmen), White twisted cord on lapels (Cadets)
- Arm badges (POs and below), Medals (Dress No 1), Ribbons (Dress No 3), Name tally, Chest badges
- Black winter trousers, Black socks, Black shoes
NOTE:
1. The sword shall be worn with Dress No 1 compulsorily by Commanders and above and optionally by other officers unless otherwise ordered.
2. Black boots and gaiters/anklets to be worn when ordered.

- White tunic with arm badges for POs and below

4. Gym shoes or sandals may be worn ,when permitted, at sea.
