Cracked TES SSB Interview In My Last Attempt

On the conference day, the board had just asked me a simple question what will I join if I got recommended in this attempt too whether Army or Navy I gave the simplest answer is definitely Army.

Hi KRISHNA DIXIT here. I recently got recommended in TES46 entry from the so-called rejection centre Allahabad SSB in my last attempt after the 12th. At first, I was having the same feeling about that centre but after the day of screening, it changed for me.

On the first day, there was a reporting of 305 from which 23 got documents out and then we allotted chest numbers, I got 269 as I was a hardcore repeater. As most of us are aware that firstly OIR happens on screening day, I completed my OIR in not more than 12mins each then after that in a streak we were shown a picture for ppdt and I made a simple story. Then at the time of discussion, our group consists of 14 candidates and I was the 1st of them to narrate. During the narration, I stuck for 2 to 3 words but completed it so I thought that I need to perform well in GD so I did one most important thing in GD is to control the group not to make it a fish market which helped me a lot.

When they were announcing results, I thought that they may take time to come to me but the first chest no. they said was 269 that was mine and then 29 more from the remaining 281.

Day 2:

On the psychology test day, we went early in the morning about 6.40 am as it was scheduled to start at 7.00 am. After that, our psychologist addressed us explained us all, and started the test at 7.40 am. Starting with TAT, one thing I had learned from my previous attempts is that if our story is linked with our PIQ then it will be great for us. So I made sure to link them with my PIQ like I m good in sports, so I had to make 6-7 stories on sports, 2-3 on extracurricular and remaining on studies, Olympiad, etc. Then in WAT, I followed the same process, like 30-35 sentences on sports, 10-15 on studies, remaining on extracurricular, etc. Now for SRT, every time psychologist says quality matters not quantity but I get it in this attempt as I attempted only 31 SRTs but had given proper quality solutions and what I would tell you about SDT, u all know it very well I guess.

Our test finished at 10.30 am and I was called for my interview at 10.31 am suddenly after the test. That was a surprise for me but I was feeling because I will be free after that, my interview was very short, about 20-25 mins and was to the point like he asked something And I answered him in 4-5 words max. My interview was good according to me and must be according to him too.

Day 3 and 4 were for GTO which was my weakest part in previous attempts but this time I performed well in all groups as well as in individual tasks like command tasks. He pressurized me a lot and changed various situations for me at that time but I remained calm and cool.

On the conference day, the board had just asked me a simple question what will I join if I got recommended in this attempt too whether Army or Navy I gave the simplest answer is definitely Army, and told him the reason.

Then again the same happened during the conference result that they announced first chest no. 1 that was mine than chest no.5 and that’s all so both of us got recommended from 305 which is a very big thing for both of us.

I would also like to share the results of my previous attempts:

TES 44: S/OUT

NDA 145: C/OUT

NDA146: C/OUT

TES 45: C/OUT

NDA 147: C/OUT

NAVY TECH. ( JAN 2022) : RECOMMEND

TES 46: RECOMMEND.

Now I m just waiting for the merit of both Navy tech and TES 46.

I will give u just a simple hint for SSB

“GO THERE AND JUST TRY TO GIVE YOUR 100%”.

Thanks to all and especially my brother Anurag Pandey.
