Indian Navy Officers Explore Army Air Defence College in Gopalpur

In a collaborative military training endeavor, 37 officers from the Indian Navy, who are currently undergoing the Long Gunnery Course, visited the Army Air Defence College (AADC) in Gopalpur. This visit facilitated an exchange of knowledge and best practices between the two armed forces branches.

During their visit, the naval officers were given an in-depth tour of the AADC’s state-of-the-art training facilities. They witnessed firsthand the advanced technological infrastructure that the Army uses to train its air defence personnel. This includes the latest in radar technology, anti-aircraft systems, and simulation platforms, which are integral to preparing Army personnel for the complexities of modern air defence.

The visiting officers were also briefed on the common procedures and best practices in air defence, highlighting the cross-branch learning opportunities that such visits foster. This interaction not only enhances the professional knowledge of the naval officers but also strengthens the interoperability between the Indian Navy and the Army.
