Air Marshal Balakrishnan Manikantan, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Air Command, visited Air Force Station Darbhanga along with Dr Nirmala Manikantan, President Air Force Families Welfare Association (AFFWA) Regional, to celebrate Diwali with Air Force personnel and their families.
During the visit, the Air Marshal interacted with the officers, airmen, and families, commending their commitment and professionalism in serving the nation. He personally distributed sweets among the deployed personnel and extended heartfelt Diwali greetings to all members of the station, appreciating their devotion to duty even during festive times.
Dr Nirmala Manikantan also extended warm wishes to all the Sanginis of the station, lauding their strength and contribution to the Air Force community.
The visit by the AOC-in-C and President AFFWA Regional brought festive cheer and reinforced the spirit of unity, morale, and camaraderie among personnel and families, embodying the Indian Air Force’s ethos of service before self.
