The review included assessments of advanced surveillance systems, specialist mobility platforms, next-generation technologies, reconnaissance integration, and coordination with allied security agencies. The Army Chief lauded the professionalism, tactical innovation, and unwavering discipline displayed by personnel operating in demanding climatic conditions and rugged terrain.

Interacting with soldiers deployed in remote areas, General Dwivedi commended their courage, resilience, and steadfast devotion to duty, underscoring the Armyโ€™s motto of โ€œService Before Self.โ€ He reassured them of the Armyโ€™s full preparedness to counter evolving security challenges along Indiaโ€™s borders.

These initiatives include infrastructure upgrades such as hybrid power projects, improved road connectivity, community medical camps, agricultural support through polyhouses, and the promotion of eco-friendly tourism via tent-based homestays in Garbyang and Kalapani.

General Dwivedi emphasized that the Indian Armyโ€™s presence in Kumaon exemplifies โ€œstrength with compassion,โ€ balancing its operational role in border defense with its commitment to upliftment of local communities.
