In a step towards strengthening India’s cyber resilience and promoting inter-agency cooperation, the Konark Corps conducted a joint Cyber and Information Security Training capsule for personnel of the Border Security Force (BSF) under the theme “Cyber Shield for a Secure Nation.”
The training, held at Jodhpur, was part of the unique multi-agency synergy initiative fostered by the Konark Corps to enhance coordination and knowledge-sharing among security forces operating in western India. The capsule aimed to build awareness and proficiency in tackling evolving cyber threats, ensuring the protection of critical digital infrastructure and communication systems.
Experts from the Indian Army and BSF shared best practices in cybersecurity, information protection, and data privacy, emphasizing preventive measures to safeguard digital assets against malware, phishing, and other forms of cyber intrusion. The program also covered aspects of telecom network security, secure communication protocols, and real-time response mechanisms to cyber incidents.
The initiative reflects the Army’s continued focus on leveraging technology and inter-agency collaboration to counter emerging threats in the virtual and information domains, ensuring operational security and resilience at every level.
Through this joint effort, Konark Corps reaffirmed its commitment to building a digitally secure and information-resilient security ecosystem in line with the vision of a technologically empowered and secure nation.
