Vajra Corps and Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Jalandhar, successfully organized a Women Agniveer Recruitment Rally for candidates hailing from Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir, marking a significant step forward in women’s participation and empowerment within the Indian Army.
The rally saw the enthusiastic participation of over 250 young women, showcasing their determination, courage, and commitment to serve the Nation with honour and pride.
The event was reviewed and flagged off by Maj Gen MS Bains, SC, YSM, SM, Zonal Recruiting Officer, Jalandhar, who appreciated the zeal and discipline displayed by the candidates.
The participation of such a large number of motivated women highlights the growing strength and aspirations of women in uniform, breaking traditional barriers and contributing to India’s defence and progress.
