Pune, November 2025 โ The third edition of the SBI CME Soldierathon 3.0 concluded on a historic and high-spirited note, uniting serving soldiers, veterans, wounded heroes, families, and citizens under one banner of fitness, patriotism, and solidarity.
Organised by Fitistan โ Ek Fit Bharat in collaboration with the College of Military Engineering (CME) of the Indian Army, the event stood as a vibrant tribute to the Fit India Movement, envisioned by Honโble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, blending discipline, endurance, and national pride on one unified platform.
Record Participation Across Categories
This yearโs Soldierathon witnessed record participation from 8,720 runners across four categories:
- 21 km Half Marathon
- 10 km Run
- 5 km Run
- Cheer Buddy Category
Runners from across India โ soldiers, families, civilians, and fitness enthusiasts โ came together to promote health, unity, and respect for the armed forces, embodying the spirit of โRun for Soldiers, Run with Soldiers.โ
Giving Back to the Brave
Staying true to its mission of supporting Indiaโs heroes, Soldierathon 3.0 contributed โน5,00,000 to the Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre (PRC), Kirkee, aiding the welfare and rehabilitation of injured soldiers and veterans. The initiative symbolised gratitude to those who have sacrificed for the nationโs security.

Launch of SENA โ A Movement Beyond Fashion
A major highlight of the event was the launch of SENA โ a purpose-driven lifestyle initiative born from the Soldierathon ethos. SENA aims to empower wounded soldiers, support military families, and build a sustainable wellness community, fostering a bridge between the armed forces and civilians through the shared values of fitness and resilience.
National Half Marathon Championship
For the first time, the event also hosted the National Half Marathon Championship, where elite runners competed alongside defence personnel and citizens. In an intense finish, CTW CME Pune clinched the Team Championship Trophy with an impressive average time of 1 hour, 22 minutes, and 19 seconds, earning a cash prize of โน1,00,000.
The winners were felicitated by Lt General Ramesh, Commandant, CME Pune, who lauded the participants for their exceptional performance and highlighted Soldierathon as a platform where โfitness meets patriotism.โ
Enduring Message of Unity and Fitness
Shri G.S. Rana, Deputy Managing Director, SBI, praised the seamless organisation and overwhelming participation, calling the event a true reflection of Indiaโs unity, service, and fitness revolution.
The organisers expressed heartfelt gratitude to Team CME, defence personnel, volunteers, sponsors, ambassadors, and pacers for making Soldierathon 3.0 a resounding success.
