Organised by Fitistan – Ek Fit Bharat in collaboration with the College of Military Engineering (CME) of the Indian Army, the event stood as a vibrant tribute to the Fit India Movement, envisioned by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, blending discipline, endurance, and national pride on one unified platform.

Record Participation Across Categories

This year’s Soldierathon witnessed record participation from 8,720 runners across four categories:

Runners from across India — soldiers, families, civilians, and fitness enthusiasts — came together to promote health, unity, and respect for the armed forces, embodying the spirit of “Run for Soldiers, Run with Soldiers.”

Giving Back to the Brave

Staying true to its mission of supporting India’s heroes, Soldierathon 3.0 contributed ₹5,00,000 to the Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre (PRC), Kirkee, aiding the welfare and rehabilitation of injured soldiers and veterans. The initiative symbolised gratitude to those who have sacrificed for the nation’s security.

Launch of SENA – A Movement Beyond Fashion

A major highlight of the event was the launch of SENA — a purpose-driven lifestyle initiative born from the Soldierathon ethos. SENA aims to empower wounded soldiers, support military families, and build a sustainable wellness community, fostering a bridge between the armed forces and civilians through the shared values of fitness and resilience.

National Half Marathon Championship

For the first time, the event also hosted the National Half Marathon Championship, where elite runners competed alongside defence personnel and citizens. In an intense finish, CTW CME Pune clinched the Team Championship Trophy with an impressive average time of 1 hour, 22 minutes, and 19 seconds, earning a cash prize of ₹1,00,000.

The winners were felicitated by Lt General Ramesh, Commandant, CME Pune, who lauded the participants for their exceptional performance and highlighted Soldierathon as a platform where “fitness meets patriotism.”

Enduring Message of Unity and Fitness

Shri G.S. Rana, Deputy Managing Director, SBI, praised the seamless organisation and overwhelming participation, calling the event a true reflection of India’s unity, service, and fitness revolution.

The organisers expressed heartfelt gratitude to Team CME, defence personnel, volunteers, sponsors, ambassadors, and pacers for making Soldierathon 3.0 a resounding success.

As the sun set over CME Pune, every participant carried home not just medals but memories of courage, camaraderie, and the indomitable spirit of the Indian soldier, reaffirming Soldierathon’s enduring mission —
“Run for Soldiers. Run with Soldiers.”
