Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C), South Western Air Command (SWAC), visited Air Force Station Jaipur from December 12 to 13, 2025, to review the operational preparedness of the station.
During the visit, the AOC-in-C was briefed on key operational and administrative aspects and assessed the station’s readiness to undertake assigned missions. He interacted with personnel and emphasised the need to maintain high standards of operational efficiency, preparedness and professionalism in the evolving security environment.
As part of his visit, Air Marshal Kapoor also paid a courtesy call on the Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan, highlighting the Indian Air Force’s strong civil-military relations and continued coordination with state authorities.
In a ceremony held at Air Force Station Jaipur, Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor presented a commendation on behalf of the Chief of the Air Staff to Shri Biju George Joseph, IPS, in recognition of his steadfast and proactive support during Operation Sindoor. The award acknowledged his significant contribution and close cooperation with the Indian Air Force during the operation, underscoring the importance of inter-agency synergy in national security operations.
