Chief of the Army Staff, General Upendra Dwivedi, attended the Biennial Conference of the Regiment of Artillery at the School of Artillery, Devlali, where senior leadership of the arm gathered to discuss the future trajectory of Indiaโs artillery capabilities.
The conference saw participation from the DG Artillery, Colonel Commandants, Formation Commanders and Commanding Officers, with deliberations centred on force restructuring, modernisation, and technology infusion to meet emerging battlefield requirements.

During his visit, the Army Chief also toured the Drone Experience Centre, a state-of-the-art facility designed to promote technology-driven warfare training. He reviewed key capabilities, including advanced simulator labs, an incubation centre, and a drone manoeuvre arena where trainees practice mission planning, surveillance and precision targeting.

Addressing officers and instructors at the station, General Dwivedi commended the sustained efforts to enhance training standards and integrate modern warfare concepts. He urged all personnel to maintain their momentum and continue striving for excellence as the Army pursues rapid technological transformation.
