Air Cheif Marshal AP Singh, Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), presided over the Central Air Command (CAC) Commanders’ Conference held from January 19–20, 2026. On arrival, he was received by B Manikantan, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, CAC.
The CAS paid homage at the CAC War Memorial and was presented a Ceremonial Guard of Honour, marking the formal commencement of the conference.

During a comprehensive review of CAC’s operational preparedness, the CAS commended TEAM CAC for the exemplary professionalism demonstrated during Operation Sindoor, as well as across major air exercises, Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) missions, and steadfast support to civil authorities.

Addressing all personnel and civilians of HQ CAC and AF Station Bamrauli, Air Chief Marshal Singh emphasized the imperatives of high operational readiness, realistic and rigorous training, aerospace safety, robust physical and cyber security, and self-discipline. He also underscored the importance of fostering a healthy work environment with due focus on work–life balance.

Urging commanders to lead by example, the CAS called for innovation, resource optimisation, and stronger jointness to ensure the Indian Air Force remains a potent, agile, and future-ready aerospace power. He reaffirmed that the Indian Air Force will continue to stand as a decisive and formidable force, ready to meet emerging challenges across the spectrum of operations.
