Air Marshal S Shrinivas, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C), Training Command, visited Air Force Station Bidar on 12 and 13 February 2026, accompanied by Mrs Sunita Shrinivas, President, AFFWA (Regional). The Air Marshal was received by the Air Officer Commanding, Air Commodore Parag Lall, and was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour on arrival.

During the visit, Air Marshal Shrinivas carried out a comprehensive review of flying, training, maintenance and administrative activities at the station. He inspected key facilities and assessed the stationโs role in sustaining high standards of flying training and operational preparedness for the Indian Air Force.

A highlight of the visit was the Air Marshal flying a sortie in the Hawk Mk-132 aircraft alongside the Suryakirans Aerobatic Team. He later interacted with Qualified Flying Instructors and trainee pilots of the Hawk Operational Training Squadrons, gaining firsthand insight into training methodologies and pilot progression.

Addressing station personnel, the AOC-in-C reinforced the Indian Air Forceโs vision of nurturing world-class, self-reliant aviators through excellence in training, professionalism and innovation. He commended the personnel for their dedication and reiterated the importance of maintaining the highest standards to prepare air warriors for future operational challenges.
