Shri Praveen Kumar, IPS, Director General of the Border Security Force (BSF), and Shri Sanjay Singhal, IPS, Director General of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), called on General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), to discuss key issues related to national security.
During the meeting, Praveen Kumar and Sanjay Singhal held detailed deliberations with the Army Chief on border management, operational preparedness and the need to further strengthen inter-force and inter-agency coordination.
The discussions emphasised a unified and synergised approach among the Border Security Force, Sashastra Seema Bal and the Indian Army to effectively address emerging and evolving security challenges along India’s borders.
The interaction highlighted the shared commitment of the security forces to seamless coordination, intelligence sharing and joint operational readiness in safeguarding national interests.
