Lieutenant General DG Misra, AVSM, General Officer Commanding, Headquarters Uttar Bharat, visited the Surya Battle School, an elite training institution known for preparing troops for operations in rugged Himalayan terrain and complex battlefield environments.
During the visit, the General Officer reviewed world-class training infrastructure and observed joint training activities where Indian troops train alongside friendly foreign forces. The collaborative exercises reinforce camaraderie, mutual trust and professional military ties, further strengthening global defence partnerships.
Lt Gen Misra commended the troops for their high morale, professionalism and indomitable spirit. He emphasised the importance of sustaining peak operational readiness and continuously striving for excellence in every mission.
