Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, AVSM, YSM, SM, General Officer Commanding (GOC), White Knight Corps, visited the Balnoi Sector to assess the counter-infiltration posture and operational preparedness of troops deployed along the Line of Control (LoC).
During the visit, the GOC was briefed on surveillance measures, force deployment and preparedness levels to counter infiltration attempts in the sensitive sector. He interacted with troops manning forward posts and commended their high state of readiness, professionalism and unwavering vigilance in challenging operational conditions.
Subsequently, Lt Gen Mishra, accompanied by the GOC Crossed Swords Division, visited forward areas of the Sunderbani Sector to review the prevailing security situation following the successful foiling of an infiltration bid. The review focused on consolidation of gains, strengthening the counter-terror grid and maintaining operational dominance.
The GOC praised all ranks for their resolute spirit, steadfast resolve and alertness along the LoC. He exhorted troops to sustain relentless vigilance, refine operational practices and remain prepared to decisively counter any emerging threat, reaffirming the White Knight Corps’ commitment to securing the Line of Control and safeguarding national security.
