Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, AVSM, YSM, SM, General Officer Commanding (GOC), White Knight Corps, along with the GOC Counter Insurgency Force (Delta), visited multiple locations in Kishtwar to review ongoing counter-terrorism operations in the hinterland.

During the visit, Lt Gen Mishra was briefed on recent operations that resulted in the elimination of three Pakistan-sponsored terrorists, including a top commander of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). The operation was carried out through swift, precise and intelligence-driven action in challenging terrain.

The Corps Commander commended the troops for their professionalism, operational sharpness and seamless coordination in neutralising threats and maintaining security in the region. He lauded their relentless pursuit and steadfast resolve in dismantling terror networks operating in the hinterland.

Reaffirming the White Knight Corps’ commitment to safeguarding the nation, Lt Gen Mishra emphasised the need to sustain operational momentum, maintain high vigilance and continue intelligence-led proactive operations to ensure lasting peace and stability in the region.
