Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, AVSM, YSM, SM, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of White Knight Corps, along with the GOC of Cross Swords Division and the GOC of Romeo Force, reviewed the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness in the forward areas of Pallanwala and Rajouri.
During the visit, the senior commanders undertook a comprehensive assessment of the defence posture along the Line of Control (LoC) and the effectiveness of the counter-terrorism grid. They were briefed on operational readiness, surveillance mechanisms and coordination among various forces to counter evolving security challenges.
Interacting with troops deployed in rugged and unforgiving terrain, Lt Gen Mishra commended their high level of alertness, combat readiness and professionalism. He appreciated the soldiers’ resilience and determination while operating under demanding operational conditions.
The visit reaffirmed the Indian Army’s unwavering commitment to vigilance, preparedness and operational excellence, with troops standing resolute and battle-ready to safeguard the nation’s frontiers at all times.
