Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, Army Commander Northern Command, visited Kishtwar following the successful conduct of Operation TRASHI-I, which led to the elimination of three Pakistan-sponsored terrorists in the region.
During the visit, the Army Commander reviewed the ground situation and was briefed on the planning and execution of the operation. He commended the troops for their swift, precise and intelligence-led action that ensured the operation’s decisive success.
Lt Gen Pratik Sharma lauded all ranks for their professionalism, commitment and steadfast resolve, and reiterated the Indian Army’s determination to maintain peace and security. He exhorted the troops to continue their relentless vigilance and operational readiness in pursuit of a terror-free and peaceful Jammu and Kashmir.
