Lieutenant General Zubin A. Minwalla, DCIDS (DOT), visited the Military Institute of Technology (MILIT), Pune, where he addressed Student Officers on the critical themes of integration and jointmanship within the Indian Armed Forces.

During his address, Lt Gen Minwalla underscored the decisive role of emerging technologies in shaping future warfare. He emphasised the need for sustained capability development, effective technology integration and enhanced tri-service synergy to prepare the armed forces for complex, multi-domain operational environments.

The General Officer also reviewed ongoing training activities at MILIT and interacted with faculty and student officers. He was briefed on several innovative projects, including artificial intelligence-based initiatives being undertaken by student officers on the indigenously developed ASTRA platform.

Commending MILITโs focus on innovation-driven learning, Lt Gen Minwalla appreciated the institutionโs commitment to training excellence and technological transformation. He highlighted that such initiatives are vital in nurturing future military leaders equipped to harness technology for operational effectiveness and joint force integration.
