From a small village in Himachal Pradesh to the parade ground of Officers Training Academy (OTA) Gaya, the journey of Senior Under Officer (SUO) Aabha stands as a powerful story of courage, legacy and dedication to the nation.

Aabha is the daughter of Lance Naik Jeet Singh (1 MAHAR), who was awarded the Sena Medal (Posthumous) for his bravery. Carrying forward a three-generation legacy of service and sacrifice, she has now taken a significant step by joining the Indian Army as an officer, becoming the first woman officer in her family.

From Engineering Graduate to Army Officer

Aabha completed her engineering degree from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur, one of India’s premier institutes. During her college years, she actively participated in the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and rose to the position of Senior Under Officer (SUO).

Despite securing a high-paying corporate job with Oracle worth ₹10 LPA, Aabha chose to follow her calling and serve the nation by wearing the Olive Green uniform of the Indian Army.
