The Grenadiers Regimental Centre achieved a major milestone as its Agniveer shooters clinched the 7th DG Infantry Cup 2026, marking the unit’s first victory since the competition began.
The team delivered an impressive performance during the championship, securing first position in the Air Rifle event and fourth position in the Air Pistol category, which helped them secure the overall first position and lift the prestigious DG Infantry Cup.

Strong Competition from Infantry Regiments
The competition witnessed participation from 23 Infantry Regiments, making the victory a significant achievement for the team representing the Grenadiers Regimental Centre, often referred to as the “White Hackle Army.”
