Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar, AVSM, VSM, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Indian Army’s Kharga Corps, recently conducted a comprehensive review of the operational preparedness of frontline formations participating in Exercise Kharga Shakti. The review was aimed at assessing combat readiness, operational efficiency, and the effectiveness of modern training methodologies adopted by the formations under the corps.
During the visit, Lt Gen Rajesh Pushkar interacted with troops and commanders, evaluating various aspects of battlefield preparedness including coordinated manoeuvres, combat drills, and the integration of emerging technologies in military operations. Exercise Kharga Shakti serves as a crucial platform for validating operational strategies and enhancing the synergy between different fighting formations of the corps.

The GOC appreciated the professionalism, dedication, and high morale displayed by officers, Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs), and soldiers taking part in the exercise. He commended all ranks for their outstanding contribution in ensuring the successful conduct of the large-scale military drill.
Lt Gen Pushkar particularly praised the formation’s proactive approach toward adopting innovative training techniques and integrating modern technologies into operational planning and execution.
