Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Northern Command, visited the Rampur Sector in Jammu to review the prevailing security environment and counter-terrorism grid.
During the visit, the Army Commander held detailed deliberations with representatives of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, Central Reserve Police Force, and other security agencies, focusing on strengthening coordination and operational effectiveness.

Lt Gen Sharma emphasised the importance of focused and concerted joint efforts, enhanced inter-agency synergy, and operational alignment to ensure a terror-free Jammu and Kashmir.
He highlighted that seamless coordination among multiple security forces is crucial for intelligence-driven operations and rapid response to emerging threats in the region.
The visit underscores the Indian Army’s continued focus on strengthening the counter-terror grid and multi-agency cooperation, aimed at maintaining peace and stability in Jammu and Kashmir.
