Lieutenant General Harbinder Singh Vandra, General Officer Commanding of the Madhya Bharat Area, visited Bhubaneswar Military Station to review ongoing infrastructure development projects and welfare initiatives for defence personnel.
During the visit, the General Officer assessed measures aimed at improving administrative facilities, welfare support systems, and overall infrastructure for serving personnel and their families.
In a separate engagement, Lt Gen Vandra interacted with the Chief Secretary of Odisha to discuss various state-level initiatives related to the welfare, rehabilitation, and resettlement of ex-servicemen. The discussions also covered measures to strengthen institutional support for serving Armed Forces personnel.
The interaction highlighted the importance of coordinated efforts between the military and civil administration to ensure effective implementation of welfare schemes and support mechanisms for the defence community.
The visit reaffirmed the commitment of the Indian Army and state authorities towards responsive governance, seamless coordination, and sustained efforts for the well-being of veterans, serving soldiers, and their families.
