Throughout the course, trainees underwent rigorous academic instruction, practical engineering training and hands-on exposure to marine systems and equipment. The programme was designed to equip them with the technical expertise and professional competence required to support operations onboard naval and coast guard platforms.

The training also emphasized discipline, leadership, teamwork and adherence to the core values of the Indian Navy, preparing the young sailors to meet the demanding challenges of maritime service.
Officials noted that the exceptional academic performance of the batch reflects the dedication of both trainees and instructors, as well as the high standards of professional education maintained at INS Shivaji.

Having successfully completed their training, the newly qualified marine engineering sailors are now prepared to undertake operational responsibilities and contribute to the mission readiness of the Indian Navy and Coast Guard.
