The Passing Out Parade of 464 Agniveervayu non-combatants from the Housekeeping and Hospitality streams of Intake 01/2026 was held with military precision at the Airmen Training School (ATS), Belagavi, on 20 June 2026.
The parade marked the successful completion of 24 weeks of intensive military and professional training, signifying the trainees’ readiness to undertake their responsibilities in service of the Indian Air Force.

The ceremony was reviewed by Air Commodore Suraj Shankar, Air Officer Commanding, Airmen Training School Belagavi, who inspected the parade and congratulated the graduating Agniveervayu personnel on achieving this important milestone.
Addressing the trainees, Air Commodore Shankar commended them for their perseverance, commitment and dedication throughout the demanding training programme. He praised their determination and professionalism, which enabled them to successfully complete both military and specialised vocational training.

The Air Officer Commanding encouraged the newly trained personnel to uphold the highest standards of service, discipline and integrity as they begin their careers in the Indian Air Force. He emphasised the importance of professionalism and excellence in supporting the operational effectiveness of the force.
Over the course of 24 weeks, the trainees underwent comprehensive instruction aimed at developing military discipline, physical fitness, professional competence and service values. The training prepared them to perform critical support functions that contribute significantly to the overall mission readiness of the Indian Air Force.

Officials noted that the Passing Out Parade represented the culmination of months of hard work and transformation, as the trainees evolved into disciplined and capable members of the Air Force fraternity.
The event also marked the beginning of a new chapter for the Agniveervayu personnel, who will now move on to serve in various establishments across the Indian Air Force.
The ceremony concluded with a sense of pride and accomplishment, as the newly graduated trainees stepped forward to embark on their journey in service of the nation, carrying with them the values of dedication, professionalism and selfless service.
